Thanks to our affiliation with the Village of Colonie H.B.K. Senior Citizens' Center in Upstate New York, we have access to many different things that keep us active; however there is an access fee for Town residents.
The Center offers: Billiards, Bocce (summer), card games, [if you have a group that would like to start i.e., bridge , pinochle etc., come see us], Wii, sewing & crafts, singing as well as an exercise room with equipment and exercise classes. including functional moves (special class focused on balance and self defense). There's plenty room for board games such as: Chess, Checker, Dominos, Mah Jongg, Rummikub, Scrabble, etc.
The Center have a library, with plenty of books and magazines to select from, an area for relaxing and watching TV. The book club is not active at the present time; if interested please let the Center staff know.
