We boarded the bus at the H.B. K. Senior Center at 9:00 am April 30th, it was raining but that did not stop us from enjoying the trip to the Log Cabin, Holyoke, MA.  We made a brief stop at the Lee Rest Area before proceeding to our destination.

Arriving at the Log Cabin we were greeting by our host, Linda dressed in her snazzy black attire topped off with a black beret.  We were escorted to the showtime dining room where we enjoyed cheese & crackers appetizers, wine and the special drink of the day.  The menu included fresh baked popovers, a tasty mixed slaw salad, baked fish, baked potato, mixed vegetables and meat loaf.  The dessert was vanilla ice cream over crumbled oreo cookie with hot chocolate sauce; topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

The entertainment by Jimmy Mazz with music from his "Las Vegas Legends" performance.  He sang songs from the "Rat Pack" era, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdink, Bobby Darin, Elvis along with many more was.  The treat was when Tony Roznewski joined Jim on stage as they led us in the moves and singing of "Delia."

The rain continued to fall, heavy at times; but it did not dampen our spirits, arriving home safely from a beautiful outing.
